Sheriff's office: Miller girl found safe, suspect charged

According to a post from the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, the 12-year-old girl missing from Miller has been found alive and well in the St. Louis area and a suspect has been charged.

Kevin M. Nosser, 47, of the St. Louis area has been formally charged with the class A felony of child kidnapping. Nosser is currently in custody of authorities in the St. Louis area on a $1 million bond.

According to an Endangered Person Advisory from the Missouri State Highway Patrol sent earlier, Haylie Douglas was last seen around 3:45 p.m. Friday. Around 6:15 p.m., someone checking on her discovered she was not there. An Amber Alert was not sent out in reference to Douglas' disappearance because it did not meet the appropriate criteria.
