The MSU baseball highlight everyone is talking about

What a catch by Blake Graham!

There are catches and then there are catches. Heck, there are catches and then there are CATCHES.

Missouri State sophomore outfielder Blake Graham landed on the national radar Tuesday night with a diving catch that ascended from a highlight in front of the third-largest crowd in Bears baseball history to the No. 1 play on SportsCenter. On the viral scale, we give it a rating of cover your mouth while gasping to holy @#$*.

#SGFNumber1 meet #SCNumber1

Of course, that play, along with Graham bashing one of MSU's three homers helped the No. 16-ranked Bears sweep the season series over Mizzou with a 13-8 victory.

The catch was so good, the Hammons Fleld lights went out for some reason, causing a 14-minute delay, after the catch. We're not saying the lights went out because of how good that catch was. But the lights probably went out because of how good that catch was.

Almost immediately, MSU sports information GA Matthew Lerman knew it was something special.

Here was the first time it hit the Web.

As for evidence that it was in fact SportsCenter's top play...

But through all of it — the catch, the emotion, the win over Mizzou — our MSU reporter Lyndal Scranton asks the most important question:

So, was Graham's catch the most spectacular play than Fontleroy's dunk? And more importantly, is this the best Bears baseball team ever? The bottom line is this MSU Bears baseball season is the most exciting in a long time and is showing no signs of slowing down.
