Prosecutors are asking that a Springfield man who killed a woman in a drunken driving crash last year have his probation revoked after he allegedly failed almost a dozen drug tests.

Prosecutors filed a motion Monday asking that Dylan Meyer, 21, have his probation revoked after they say he tested positive for THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, on at least 11 different occasions in the last two months.

Meyer was given five years probation in February after he pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with a Feb. 10, 2015 crash that resulted in the death of 38-year-old Kelly Williams.

If the court decides Meyer violated his probation, it could trigger a 10-year prison sentence.

Judge to drunken driver in fatal crash: I'm giving you a second chance

At the sentencing in February, Judge David Jones said he was giving Meyer a second chance.

Greene County Prosecutor Dan Patterson called the sentence a "slap on the wrist."

Meyer is back in the Greene County Jail, and he is scheduled for a probation violation hearing next month.

Court documents say Meyer's pickup truck was traveling 95 mph leading up to the crash on Feb. 10, 2015, and Williams' car was split in two by the impact. Meyer's toxicology results showed a blood alcohol level of .266 percent and the presence of cannabinoids.
