Montrose girl, subject of Amber Alert, found safe

Amber Alert issued for Henry County girl

An Amber Alert for a 13-year-old girl from Montrose, Mo., was canceled Monday afternoon, several hours after it was issued.

Hannah Sue Kennish was found safe in New Mexico.

Montrose is located in Henry County, about 90 minutes northwest of Springfield.

The original Amber Alert issued by authorities stated Kennish was abducted between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. on March 29. She was described as a white female, age 13, 5 feet 2 inches, 130-140 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes, last seen wearing a pink colored short sleeve shirt and pink capri pants.

The Amber Alert listed the suspect as Raymond C. Vallia, described by authorities as a white male, age 55, 5 feet 9 inches, 230-250 pounds,grayish brown hair and brown eyes.

The suspect vehicle was described as a black 2013 Ford F150 four door truck bearing Texas registration CGL8981.
