Police say a man was hospitalized in Springfield Thursday after being bound and attacked as part of an ongoing dispute with multiple suspects. Police also believe he had his mouth glued shut.

Lt. Tad Peters said someone called authorities at 8:05 a.m. to report seeing a man leave a home on the 300 block of North Glenn Avenue.

That man later showed up at a Springfield hospital suffering from injuries consistent with having his mouth glued shut, Peters said.

According to Peters, the man had also been struck with some type of object.

The man's injuries were not life-threatening, Peters said.

As of 2 p.m. Thursday, Peters said no arrests had been made in connection with the incident.
